Ms. Spencer joined PCA in 2015 and covers real estate, timberland and agriculture. Her responsibilities include due diligence of private real estate and timberland investment fund managers, portfolio and investment level performance measurement and analytics, and assisting with various client and internal projects. She currently serves on PCA’s internal Manager Research Committee.
Prior to joining PCA, Ms. Spencer served as an Equity Analyst Intern for Signia Capital Management, with a primary research focus on small- and mid-cap domestic equities in the health care sector. Prior to her time at Signia Capital Management, Ms. Spencer assisted with various aspects of foundation work at the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust.
Ms. Spencer is a Developing Leader of NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association and a member of the Portland Women in Investment Management Group. Ms. Spencer also volunteers with Betties360, which provides under-served girls in the Portland community access to outdoor activities and life-skill training.
Ms. Spencer is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. Ms. Spencer graduated magna cum laude with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics, International Business, and Spanish from Whitworth University, where she managed part of the college’s endowment for three years.
